... and it was so much fun I did it twice in ten minutes

I have a hole in my knee and a rather large bruise on my backside. The damage to my pride is far worse: both falls were executed at a standstill and both were my fault. When removing one's left foot from the toe clip, it is never advisable to then try and stand on one's right foot

On the plus side, both the bike and my brand new shorts survived intact. Some weird exception to the rules of physics allowed me to gouge a hole in my knee through the fabric of the shorts without damaging them

Oooch, ouch! I've done that in the past. Not twice in quick succession though, that shows real commitment

That could be taken two ways, but I know the feeling when you go with the wrong foot I hit my head on a wall about 30 years ago and can still remember the pain.
