Waterton Park ('aka' Walton Hall') has been added to Historic Englands Register of Parks & Gardens

There's a wall, granted in bad repair/partially collapsed around the estate, that's 3 miles long!
It cost an alleged £10,000 back in (circa) 1810-1815

2008 article; https://www.bbc.co.uk/bradford/content/articles/2007/06/05/squire_waterton_wakefield_feature.shtml
I didn't know there was a Waterton Lake National Park in Canada; https://www.bbc.com/travel/article/20150921-the-man-who-inspired-charles-darwin
* I used it, because they've (as in local Council, the 'friends of' & even David Attenborough), have all been pushing for a UNESCO World Heritage listing for the Park
