First club ride

Did my first club ride today, went out this morning at 9-15 met up with the Southgate cycling club, only went for a chat to see where they were going, it turned out to be in the completely opposite direction to where i needed to be at 11am. anyway decided to tag along to the cafe stop, thougherly enjoyed the ride nice freindly club, ended up getting home at 1-30 oops, no racing just a nice 41 mile ride through the country side, Enfield town to St albans, looking forward to the next ride, got home loaded the mtbs into the car and went for a couple hours in Epping forest with the wife, life is soooooooooooo good. :-)

9.15 meet? Crikey. I'm have to be at least 20 miles into my ride to avoid an ear bashing from the wife at that time on a Sunday morning!

Oh GF, 9:15 is late, my club meets at 9:00 and we are gone by then but I'm less than 2 miles from the start, even if it is all uphill
