First clipless ride yesterday.....

...and it really wasn't so bad! After reading various horror stories I thought it was going to be awful - especially as I had bought SPD-SL road pedals and cleats and read that they aren't as easy for a beginner to use as MTB cleats. The hardest thing was getting the old pedals off! Anyway it was fine and I got used to them really quickly. I set the tension really loose and could clip in and out really easily but still felt securely clipped in. I can't believe I put it off for so long. Can't wait for my next ride!

I'm sure my clipless moment will come though....

Had my first clipless ride on Saturday. Managed two clipless moments! Think I was ok by the end of 70 miles just still not 100% on Hill starts.
