Two friends, one on an Electric bike and the other with some 50 years riding behind him and I had a two day ride out to my caravan. John took the train from St Helens to Lancaster while Stuart and I put our bikes on a tow bar carrier and used https://www.justpark.com to park on a private drive overnight for a fiver. (Very impressed, first time I have used this service). 39 miles to Grange over Sands using the http://cycle.travel/route/bay_cycle_way. Had a couple of beers and a bowl of Pasta in the van, then came back the same way today. Two lovely days, dry, bright and little wind. Cracking views both days. Planning on doing the full route over two days early next year. The hills have taken a toll on my poor quads and knees, a wee dram my help. Longest ride yet................twice in two days. Very pleased with myself.

I've just spent 5 minutes trying to understand the logistics - I was surprised when a tow bar carrier suddenly appeared - but it may simply be the whisky befuddling me. Anyhow, glad you had a good bike ride!
