Got into work today, and noticed one of my Tesco's (C Cells) beam pattern was not as bright as the other..... opened it up, and the inside was wet...odd, and the battery next to the bulb was scorched.....
Must be wet... so dried it out, and re-assembled it...left it running with the other one fine..... Turned off.....
About half an hour later....what's that smell....oh no..... dived over to the torch - it was red hot.....argh....stripped it down..again new battery scorched...and the inside all wet - not water........
Good job I was in the office.....
Time for some Ayups now....oh noticed that they are only doing a Aussie site and a Worldwide site - prices in AUD only....exchange rates are on the fall for the Aussies too
