Saw the event on the Action for Medical research site, wondered if anyone had taken part or any thoughts on the terrain? Looks like the scenery between Belfast and Coleraine would be worth the trip alone.

You will not be disappointed - it is a beautiful route, by bike or by car and at any time of the year. Even if the weather is poor, the wind should be at your back the whole way up the Antrim coast road.

The climb starting at the 90km mark is a bit of a grind, but takes you right up the glen and past Weathertop Farm (which (sadly, I know) always reminds me of the Lord of the Rings!)

I would love to do this ride, but the Bike the Blackwater event is on the same day, and I was disappointed to miss it last year.
