Just want to say how good this stuff is. It is expensive £9 for a 4oz /120ml bottle. Lubed several of my bikes at the start of summer and have just had to deep clean and re-lube my commuting bike which has covered about 2,000 miles since I first lubed it with FLPRC. Haven't lubed it since first putting it on. The stuff coming off was black and had very small grit granules on the surface but apart from that the transmission (Ultegra) was pretty clean. The transmission was running fine but I felt it was time to give it a total clean and fresh re-lube. Everything has scrubbed up like new the chain HG93, the rings Ultegra and cassette Campag Record. Very little crud on the deraillieur jockey wheels to take off. All is now super silent again as it spins.

But Wiggle have stopped doing it for some reason which is where I got it. I have just under half a bottle left. It doesn't take very much to properly lube a chain. The surplus drips into a food tray beneath and can be re-used.

I'm currently using Pro Road too and I'd concur. I've just had a look around the web and it seems that the Finish Line Ceramic Lube comes in 2 types now 'Maximum Cleanliness' and 'Maximum Durability' ;)

I would prefer to steer clear of wax lubes such as Maximum Cleanliness as I used White Lightening Clean Ride wax lube which was rubbish. The Maximum Durability is a wet lube which I guess will attract a lot more crud than the Pro road which is synthetic oils and wet to the touch but not visibly wet or heavy wet. I think the Pro road stuff can still be got if there is old stock out there. Maybe have to take a loan out and buy a few bottles as a supply if it's truly NLA.

So these newer offerings they do (cleanliness/durability) are not similar and are inferior?

Complete waste of money IMHO.

1 litre of good quality synthetic motor oil = less than £10.

Doesn't attract dirt (comparatively speaking) and the drivetrain is as quiet as a mouse.
