Get in! Finally reached the magical goal of 20 miles! although Strava has decided to rip me off a mile!
http://app.strava.com/rides/24231547
When i stopped at home it said 17.4 miles, so i thought i will do a lap of Heywood (which i know is at least 3 miles) got back home and Strava said i'd done 20.2 miles, so i saved it, put the Bike away then checked my progress again and it said 19.0 miles! :cursing:
But i know i reached 20 miles! :highfive:
I must admit i think i need a Bike fit or someone to Check it for me as both my knees are now knackered! lol..... Tried to pedal more using a lower gear, Hence a slow average MPH!
Ahh well, Need some grub now.
Cheers from a very happy Gary....... Have a good day Guys & Gals ^_^

Well done gary.
I know what you mean about milage discrepancies.
I thought certain town to town trips were a certain miles but maybe they are from certain points, not from your home.
Not sure how accurate strava or garmin are but if its by satelite from 1 point to another i guess they can't be that far out.
Your next goal is to do 20 miles according to strava lol

Well done Gary. Can't beat a nice Sunday morning run on quieter roads.

Just did 14 myself as it was minus one here and my legs were a bit tired. Great feeling when you get back into a cosy house for your breakfast after it though.

My phone signal used to cut out in the wilds of Northumberland, so I'd get home and find I'd lost whole chunks of my ride. That's why I bought a cycle computer instead. Good going 20 miles though.

Well done mate  I did my first twenty last week and did it again this morning with one more mile for good luck, as the forum members will tell you it will get easier from now on " I think " my legs are telling me otherwise ^_^..

Well done again..
