Just a little query, very occasionally when I try to upload a file (usually some stupid animated gif) I get the message that the file size is too big. Are there any plans to increase the size of files we can upload?

No - it's generous enough as it is at 2MB.

You could try running the file through an online GIF reducer - something like: http://ezgif.com/optimize (allows upto 16MB file size).

However, if you're trying to add one of those 70MB animated GIF "video" files that I found in a thread last night, just add a link to it - this way it'll open in a separate browser tab when clicked on rather than CC trying to load it into the page for everyone who views the thread (imagine it downloading automatically over 3G on a mobile).
