Fettling and cleaning

I have must spent about an hour adjusting the gears, cleaning the frame and chain, gave me a sense of satisfaction. I always look forward getting out on my bike after giving its bit of tlc, I think it rides better after a clean and lube, sad eh ....

My car always drives better after I've cleaned it.

Every time i return from my Sunday ride i give my bike a full clean, degrease and re lubricate my gears and chain. Adjust things if necessary, i sort of treat my bike like my car keep it always clean and well maintained, reduce the posibility of breakdown then
