Reminds me of my late Grandmother. She always turned straight to the Obituaries in the paper as soon as she picked it up, just to see who she had outlived that day.

Actually, I think it's just that there is a slower newspace at Christmas so we notice celeb deaths more, and of course we get a bit nostalgic anyway at this time.
