For the first time in 18 months (I know) I paid some attention to my groupset. I always lube my chain but could never clean the groupset properly

Well I found out about fenwicks degreaser so thought I'd give it ago. 20 minutes later and about 15 baby wipes later I get it looking pretty good (in my book)

Thanks for that I have ordered a 1ltr bottle of the concentrate from evans with the 15% offer code and Free Delivery only £8.49

I usually use white spirit on my drivetrain so i will be interested to see how this compares.

I diluted it down to about 50:50 in an old spray bottle. Sprayed it on and left it for a bit then rinsed it off with the hose.
Then repeated that once more and finally used baby wipes to get into the gaps between the cogs

I use this stuff, you can get it from the local market or for £1 a bottle. It is a water based degreaser so it can be easily rinsed off with a hose. Spray it on, leave for 1 minute, agitate with a paint brush, rinse it off with water. I preffer it compared to a petrol based solvent since it's safe to use on brake disks and pads.
