That's 5 days now off the bike cos of the weather and i am getting really fed up!
Tomorrow i am on the bike whether i like it or not for the commute so that's good.
Think this cycling lark is addictive

It is indeed, and you realy know that when, even in winter, you have to get back on the bike. Enjoy!

5 days? I've not ridden for more than a week. Yesterday we had winds gusting at 100kph and a chill factor of -10° or something. Bit calmer today, but they've announced 110kph tomorrow. Roll on the spring.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Never mind i have not had a decent ride since the 1st of Jan , i have still been commuting (apart from the last couple of days ) but i can feel my fitness going down the pan .

I am going a bit nuts ! definitely grumpy:banghead:

Today was the first time this winter the weather has kept me off the bike, the planned reliability trial was cancelled due to the weather last night, I got up this morning and saw the lying snow and kicked into touch the idea that I was going to ride the club ride today, instead I went back to bed and then spent an hour and half on the turbo this afternoon. Tomorrow I will be back on the bike commuting.

My enforced lay off ends in the morning, 9 days and I haven't turned a pedal. SWMBO has been in hospital for week (out now and all is well ^_^ ).
Couple of days commuting just to remind the legs what's it all about then ramp up the mileage for the forthcoming audax season.

Its been great cycling weather recently in Edinburgh. Dry, no wind but cold last week, rained on Saturday, back to work this morning, again dry, no wind and not a drop of snow.

Well i got out in the evening for an hour and half. My mates?!? took me on some pitch black trail that was way too hilly and almost like a bog in places. Wiped out now but got a warm glow now back on the bike.
