Out to-day. Went up the steepest hill I've ever done. It was a real lung buster for about 1 mile. But the ride down the other side...............Whoooo Hoooooo:biggrin:

78kph on the speedo and a LOT of corners:biggrin:

Going back next weekend to try for 80

It was down from Beecraigs towards Linlithgow. The good thing was I had a claer view round the bends so I could see if anything was coming. Meant I could take some really good lines into the corners.

Still cr*pped myself at bits though:smile:

got into the high 30s a few times but it starts to feel dangerous to me, that'll be a single pannier I reckon

on the flat is what counts surely, any arse can throw themselves off a cliff

Thats the problem. With one as big as mine I need a cliff to get up any speed at all:smile:

Was impressed on the club run yesterday. For a brief 200 m, I was drafting along at 31 mph on the flat. Sadly, my legs were not as strong as the other riders and I just could not hold the wheel. Thankfully, a couple of other riders also fell off the back and we made a little group to continue in the wake of the fast group.
