Someone has just smashed into the back of my much loved Ford Capri at some traffic lights and written it off

The force was enough to bend the boot floor

And I've now probably got whiplash as well as a bad back:

Just because the boot floor's bent doesn't necessarily mean it's a write off. It will pull back to place again if it's only the back panel that the bootlid closes too that's bent. It's only if there is chasssiss damage where things get complicated.

It was a young mum with kids in the car. Thankfully, they are all OK coz it was a new one with crumple zones and airbags etc.

I feel like I've been run over by a steamroller.

Just bought myself tickets to see Julette Binoche next weekend. Hopefully she'll hear about me being poorly and come and give me a hug.
