False advertising

Could the DVLA be accused of false advertising when they say you will lose your vehicle if its not taxed.

Reported one vehicle, for the first time, just over five months ago for VED that had run out the month before. Same vehicle is still untaxed & still being driven on the roads.

First encountered when I was walking on the pavement & aware that a vehicle had mounted the pavement and was coming down behind me.If I'd stopped he'd have hit me.

No tax, is usually an indication that there may be other issues with the vehicle.

Such as no insurance and more than likely no driving license :eek:

If the advert is still being shown/displayed then you could report it to the ASA I think. Why don't you just report it to the DVLA again?
