My friend messaged me this morning asking if I would like her old bike. Not one for passing up on a classic and free bike, I picked it up this evening.
Chain is rusty and the saddle is not original and was the first thing to go and replaced with something not as offensive
I’ll have a proper fettle when I can but I’m dodging the death glare off Mrs Skud who cannot understand my love of old bikes 😆😆

Nice . Crane mech which was mated to the original first gen Dura Ace kit, nice mover . Also a Maxi chainset with the (now rare) red dust caps

It’s fitted with 27 x 1 1/4” rims, my collection of bikes have got quite a range of wheel sizes now 😳

Should have 27 x 1 1/8th" tyres although my Carlton has a 27x 7/8th" on the front
