Bought this Falcon Black Diamond racing bike cheap to strip for parts for one of my Carlton re-builds but it was just too good to scrap it

@Carlton Flier i bought a Dawes Medalion for same reason , and have just started putting it back together albeit without some of the original parts which have been used elsewhere

biggs682 My Falcon Black Diamond rides nice its not been used much seemed a real shame to pull it to bits and scrap the rest of the parts I didn,t need and I m now glad I kept it all in one piece turned out a nice old racer

I had a Falcon Black Diamond back in the day. I covered many happy and comfortable miles on it before some lowlife decided to relieve me of it

Well it was about 30 years ago so I am just about over it now! :-)
The following bicycle was written off in a road accident and then I had an Ernie Clements Tourer after he had split from Falcon - which was also stolen. : -(
I miss that bike too!

Oooh oooh oooh tell me more. I've been searching for ages to track down what model my badly painted frame is, and it looks very much like your Falcon Panther... do you have any details - original spec etc?

These come well equiped with Shimano Japanese stuff very well made but the last ones the quality dropped right off with cheapo parts I,v sold this one it now lives in Derby
