Faithful triggers brush evolved into road sweeper?

My Dads bike for many years (he no longer cycles) cycles perhaps a lot better than it did when new, has had many wheelsets, groupsets etc fitted as up grades over the years given to me but tbh frame is just to large for me.

Earlier in the year i bought and built a 931 genesis and really like it, so latest project was to replace the cadex frame with a volare and have ended up with 2 Volares almost the same different groupsets, wheels/tyres saddles bars etc, build went very well and even used the same cables and changing the frame only took a few hours.
