Had he come off cos that looked like a snapped carbon steerer to me, looked too "quick" to be stem/bars

Eisel said there had been a few touches which led to Froome crashing, maybe Izaguirre had knocked into someone and the steerer snapped.

Did anyone else notice that the ITV4 highlights didn't even mention this? It was all about Froome coming off.

It happened at the same point, with this happening just after Froome!

Best bet would be a snapped steerer. Not anything that could be predicted.
