I know l get excited about new toys but it is finally here ......just started unpacking and the first thing l find is a Cinelli "unicantor" leather covered saddle with a sort of stitched pattern on it

Done job, just ordered the blue ...thanks for the info .Very nice......................apart from that handlebar tape.
Good news is that classic cloth bar tape is available in blue,

Also with this thin stuff you can use the classic 'Raleigh Wrap' starting from the centre and finishing up tucking the 'tail' into the handlebar end and securing it by the 'plug' (much neater IMO but not really possible with fat 'gel' tape. )

Don't you think blue tape might be a little bit overkill? Although saying that, I recently wrapped my modern blue (and white!) roadie with blue tape and it looks very nice indeed.
