Not sure about this. Can you have too much information? Who is the target market outside of twenty or so F1 drivers?

It's good to see someone outside of the cycle industry start with a clean sheet, particularly when they bring new technologies. Clearly it's not merely a styling exercise by an industrial designer like most of the 'new' concepts which are foisted on us but is it overkill? I imagine one would spend more time programming the damn thing than riding it. Check out the technology:

I don't think it would look right with my Brooks and Carradice combo, but otherwise it's fairly interesting, but somehow conventional, electronics apart that is.

I wonder.....

Is there a link between Factor 001, its abreviation F001, and the release of further information in April...the 1st by any chance?

It's been around for 18 months or so.

Perhaps I've overdosed on cynicism

'FACTOR001 - For the Serious Athlete' the index page title proclaims

You'd have to be be very serious indeed to shell out the 'less than £20k' as indicated in one of the press releases

I wonder how much less than £20k it will be.....

Had a look at it in the flesh last night (Science Museum Lates - adult-only evening opening), although they wouldn't let me sit on it. It's quite pretty, although I'd rather have the CF dining table really.

Carbon-fibre disc brakes, which surprised me a bit because I thought discs would usually weigh more than rim brakes. But perhaps it lets them make lighter rims and less rotating weight if they don't have to worry about braking surfaces.
