Umming and Arghing at having a go at this one weather looks good from the weather forecast I know DClane is having a crack anyone else entered?

Hopefully I'll be OK - got a recovering sore knee atm after my fall on Saturday's audax.

I'm doing the 50-miler.

If anyone's interested I've got a free 'entry on the day' voucher, but I'll only be able to confirm if I'm going tomorrow (depending upon whether I make it into work by bike ....)

Knee's OK, if a little tender during today's ride so it's a go for me. Won't be out now until Sunday so it should be alright. I'll be arriving in a dark blue 09 Honda Jazz (SWMBO's) with the Secteur and a green-white helmet plus red jacket. Oh, and I look like the photo since it's from last September, unlike some on the forum

Im Sorry DC Lane I'll have to cry off the bike I was hoping to use is poorly and its my commuter as well I will need to spend tomorrow fixing the hub and replacing the spokes which I had to goto manchester today to get

Nightmare Im gutted - Iow Im off to watch a film with SWMBO Ive got some brownie points to make up she thought she was getting a night in a hotel and a day shopping in Leeds instead she's watching a dodgy DVD with and making brews all day tomorrow for me while fixing me bike

I'm aiming to be there just after 8 to register and set off around 8.30.

You can change your distance (just let them know at the end) so I'll see how I'm going before settling on the 50.
