Exustar SPD-SL cleats

Anyone got experience of these? £7 including postage compared to around £18 for the Shimano version which have lasted me around 3 months.

What failed in the Shimano ones? I ask because I've over 2000km on mine and still going strong.

I'm still using them, but the left one had become pretty worn, and sometimes I'm unsure if it's fully clipped in. I walk a bit when commuting and I think the plastic on the Shimano ones is just bit soft, almost looks as if it's melted.

Wow, that's some damage. Do you scuff your feet when you walk (your shoes look pretty scuffed as well)?

Getting bak to the question, for 7 quid I'd be tempted to give them a shot.

Getting back to the question, for 7 quid I'd be tempted to give them a shot.

I commute a couple of miles through the city centre, and I think I scuff them along the tarmac when stopping in traffic. Bad habit.
