Having another go - had to bow out with a knee problem last time I tried in 2011.

I'll be off early at about 20:00 so as to get to Exmouth for my lift home.

Best of luck David. Hopefully we won't get too wet!
And you if you're going. Don't think much of the forecast, the wind looks exactly what we don't need, and just hope the rain's on its way out by the evening!

It is England though, so what else can we expect.

Yeah, that wind is going to be hard work. Hopefully I'll find a little group to work with.

I'm probably going to set off at 10pm from Channings.

Being slow and having a time constraint I'm having to get going earlier, but you'll probably overtake before the fivehead stop.

Davidc have a good one David. Good luck with the knee.

Thanks.

The knee has been well behaved this year so all being well it'll survive. Don't know about the rest of me though!

The cake was epic, @Maggot

I've just cycled up to exeter to get my train back. I suspect I'll sleep well!

Well done to the organisers, a really enjoyable event and you looked after us brilliantly.

Made it this time! The knee just made it - bit painful but not like when it went 2 years ago. My first imperial century for 40 years !!!!!!!!!

Maggot's cake, Baggy's soup, and the tea at all 3 stops is an essential part of the event and thanks go to all who made it happen.

No thanks however to the weather which tried to drown us numerous times, and had a good try at blowing us all back to Bristol.

Fantastic! No wonder you looked pleased at the finish. :wahhey:

This seems an appropriate place to say a huge thank you to Mr @Jefferson Meriwether for his help at Fivehead. We had a brilliant team and I hope the riders enjoyed themselves as much as we did.

@User482 - you should have come and said hello!

I don't know your names or what you look like! I thought asking random people if they were Baggy might be misconstrued...
