All good advice. Doesn't mention throwing yourself up and off mountains on a MTB in your 50's !

As long as I breathe, I attack.
I am sure many of our 'younger' colleagues look on us as complete nut cases - mine do. Any injury (like old age aches and pains) - have you fallen off your bike again ?

We have similar issues with a lot of the new starters of the younger variety who can't even cope with the easy jobs let alone what we do

At 64, my cycling keeps me generally fit, and Morris Dancing provides the "bit of impact" they say you need in your 60s & 70s.

And I know I'm fitter than quite a few of the 30 year olds in our office - several of them said so after our recent company festival, where they couldn't keep up with me

From your location, I wasn't aware that Wales has a tradition of Morris Dancing. :smile:Generally appears to be a very English pastime.

A lot of people think that. And the type we do does mainly originate in the Cotswolds. There were some Welsh Morris dances though in the Cotswold style, one of which we dance regularly.
This is us last year

There are four Cotswold Morris sides in Wales - Sweyns'ey (based in Swansea, the side I dance with), Cardiff, Isca (based in Newport, Gwent) and Full Moon, based in Chepstow.

There is also a form of Morris called Border Morris, which originates from the Welsh borders, and there are several Border Morris sides in Wales.

And over your way, I believe the main form of Morris is Molly.

I stand corrected with your Welsh tradition - ! ^_^
The GLW and I are very familiar with traditional dance, although Molly is in the minority around this neck of the woods; it's mostly Cotswold; the poncy hanky stuff  and Border; the noisy one - ! :okay:
