Just did my longest ride today - 25 miles - non-stop!
Miniscule compared to most folks here but just doubled my Cyclogs distance for this month.

I'm now feeling a lot more confident for PfS and a bit sore.

How fast did you average? I did 25 miles averaging 15mph (I would normally only do 9-10ish) and it nearly killed me!
It really doesn't take that long to increase your distance, I went from 5 miles to 38 miles in just a few weeks, just get out on your bike whenever you get the chance!

Good effort, Coco! Well done.

You´ll be able to build up to longer distances (if that´s what you want to do) quite easily, but don´t push yourself too hard.

Drinking plenty of water and eating sufficiently during your ride will, and stretching afterwards will help you recover and get stronger.

 Good going! Next thing, you might ride a randonnee.

You never know

I only started cycling to work to get a bit of excercise into my daily routine. Now I find myself enjoying going to work.

PfS was just to give me something to aim for and now I'm enjoying the training.

If I can get through the winter then I might have to start looking for a real bike

Well done, I know I should try and get out for that sort of distance today in preparation for PFS myself but I am afraid I am suffering to much after drinking the pub dry last night celebrating the football  (literately drinking it dry, draft beer was off due to a problem with the pumps and by about 11pm there was no bottles beer left)

Ah..the football, wondered why it was so quiet yesterday afternoon.

One of the (dis)advantages of being brought up in Paisley - no concept of the game at all
