Had fun on the way to work this morning. Was having one of those rides where you feel full of energy and are hacking along in the places you usually don't. Quite enjoying it despite the rain.

Got to a small downhill section where I have to make a right turn across the road into a side street and there were no cars for a change so thought I'd try out cornering at speed to re-live my motorcycling days. Anyway, kind of obvious really but I found out that with any kind of lean angle on a push bike it is best to have your inside pedal in the up position.

That is all

Haha, no helmet cam I'm afraid. It might of got caught on works cctv though as it was right outside the building. Will have to check.

Wasn't that exciting really as I stayed on. Left a good sideways black line behind me after the pedal dug in and lifted the back wheel a bit. I'm well impressed with the grip though, I thought skinny tyres like that would let go at the slightest bit of skiddy trouble.

Stand by for my claims of being able to drift a road bike

And I'm sure you had the presence of mind to finish off with a nonchalant 'that was deliberate, of course' expression, before going off to change your pants.

Put all your weight down thru your outside leg if you want to corner fast.

Definitely have outside pedal down!;)

we have all done it!!
Oh, no, not me, never done that, especially not when passing to the right of a tree stump and not thinking to make sure my left pedal was raised, that would be a silly thing to do.

I'm thinking Marco Melandri at the final corner of the Australian Moto GP a few years ago ... ;)

Yeah! You must have seen me. Spinning up the rear and only one hand on the bars celebrating also ;)

Knee down on the way home...

Never done it myself.

No, really, never.

I know you don't believe me.

Honestly - never had that problem - always got it right.

OK, maybe just the once.
OK, maybe more than a couple of times....
