goes the saying.
went for a ride on the ridgeway, well, why not? from west Ilsely to the white horse and back, get into car, head off towards east ilsley and somehow miss the road for A34/M4.
so drove for maybe 10 mins in the hope that the road will appear, it didn't so turned back.
was pissed off with time wasted and petroil wasted grrrr.........
well that was the cloud.
when in east ilsely, I spot the sign and get onto A34.
then my left leg cramps up big time. efrfring agony, cannot do anything about it in the car but there is P (== parking) on the A34. pull over, stretch and walk and stuff, then carry on.
that in case you've not figured it out was the silver lining 'cause the 20 mins faffing in the wrong direction would have meant I would have been on the M4 - no parking on there.
turned out quite nicely in the end.
