both of these machines illustrate how comically inefficient cars are - taking up a huge amount of space to (mostly) transport one passenger and using huge amounts of fuel to do so. And they just seem to be getting bigger, heavier, and less efficient no matter what they are powered with. Historians in years hence will write long theses to explain how it came to be.
Some great vehicles there. Unfortunately, I can't see them selling an quantity in the UK - when you see how a lot of drivers don't make any attempt at frugal driving (acceleration = max, braking ditto) they clearly aren't interested/have too much money to literally burn.
