A friend and I are doing the 70 mile route tomorrow (Sunday) from Gatwick.

Yep. It will be my longest ride so far, but should be OK as long as we keep a steady pace.

About the same as my longest ride on the CdeF. I did Inverness -lochinver and had a few rest stops, in god awful weather.

Hope it is less windy than here at the minute.
