:okay:....Ride It event from Harewood (organised by Evans Cycles) near Leeds on Sunday 6th March,:okay:

have just entered the 50 mile(medium) route on this:bicycle:.....there is a 30 mile and 75 mile option also:okay:

I like Skol

A Minging Manc...
Did 3 of the Evans events during early 2015 and even though I picked the longest event each time have to say I enjoyed(?) each one and they were really well organised. The feed stations are great and there is no chance you will leave hungry or thirsty (plenty of cake, fruit and energy drinks).

I suggest you go for the big miles and start early, you will be fine :okay:

You can ask on the day , but what has happened the last few times i have done the Leeds one, is they just ask you as you cross the line at the end if you changed routes so they can put your timing into the correct distance on the website, as there is nothing to distinguish who is doing what route, you just get a timing chip sticker on the side of your helmet.
Its a good route on the Medium , never done the long one, so may give it a try this year

I have enjoyed all the Evans ones I've done. You don't get a pretentious number to stick on you and the bike, just a timing chip on your helmet and off you go. If you fancy changing route when you are out there, just let them know when you get back.

I did that Leeds route, 50 miles distance not long after I started. I was frozen and wrecked at the end  But they did a lovely Chilli at the end :okay:
