Evans inner tube offer

My partner told me about the Evans 25% off on inner tubes offer - since he was near one he popped in today and picked a few up - now I was after some 700x25 and he needed 700x28

Apparently the guy in Evans handed him a box that says 700 x 20/28 and said that these should fit both.

I've usually seen them either as 700x23, 700x28 etc and not seen this one before.

Bit sceptical to be honest but should these do the trick or are they trying to shift crap stuff?

Pretty normal that there is a range in sizes - i think Specialized tubes fit 20-28 and Continental are 18-25. The Michelin latex ones are the only ones i've had that that are only for one size

Thanks for the reply, good to know. I've only ever bought 23s before

yes, I always use continental inner tubes and they state 18-25 (which I use for 700x23 tyres)
