Has anyone seen this yet ?
Evans Cycles are arranging Saturday Off-Road rides and Sunday Road Rides all over the country .I have only just noticed this so forgive me if its old news.

At distances from just 15 miles for families up to 90 miles for the more experienced riders its completely organised with routes and signs etc you can even try out bikes apparently
Absolutly brilliant

Yes I have noticed they look good. I would liketo go on either on or off road. Not sure I will get the time though!

I just bought something from Evans and they enclosed a brochure about these rides. If I remember rightly they did them last year (and have been doing for longer maybe)

I'd def ride em if they held some down in the SW .
Somerset & Devon & Dorset have some of the most varied and pituresque rides in the England I reckon. You are never more than 25 miles from a coast either

The north downs one in Surrey looks good - up Boxhill... nice route.

I think may do that. Anyone else ?

I did one last year. It was a decent route, but I only saw half a dozen other riders so it was pretty lonely!

The off-road series has been running for quite a few years with approx. 150-200 riders for each, more on sunny days! The road sportives now get as many as 500 or more participating.

Sittingduck - don't worry about not being fast - I'm new to all this cycling lark - only about 6 months.

I live 3 miles from Boxhill so if you decide to do it - PM me and we can meet if you like

Anyone fancy doing the West Yorkshire or Rochdale ones?

Feel like a nice easy 75 miles in freezing rain and howling winds
