Recently signed up to do the Ride it! North Wales Sportive

Anyone any experience of an Evans' sportive anywhere else (or even this one)? Well oganised? Fun?

I'm doing the short course...but I still have Bwlch Penbarras to deal with!

And because I booked over 8 weeks in advance I get £10 worth of High5 products!

But you had already done 90 miles by then, Ill have only done 18, so hopefully....

I've been on a couple of Evans rides and it may just be my own fault, but I can't seem to follow the markers. Once I was in the short ride and I ended up on the long ride.

I'd hate for that to happen to me in Wales with all those inclines!

Jibbed out of doing the 30 miler due to lack of sleep and the after-effects of watching Wales v Australia and did the 'Fun' route instead. That was pretty challenging in my less than stellar state. Respect is due to those with more backbone than me who completed any of the other routes! Bwlch Penbarras will have to wait for me.
The event was well organised and I think there were about 330 participants according to the finishing list. And because i signed up early I got a nice box of goodies courtesy of High5!
