You mean the many fewer dead drivers and passengers than any other auto manufacturer? Have you *seen* how dangerous those ICE cars are?

Tesla death rate is 41 per million registered years. Nissan Altima 113 per million. Mitsubishi mirage 205 with a further 183 for the hatchback. Why aren't these death machines being recalled?

There is a website that lists every Tesla crash that resulted in a death. Can you find me one for *any* other manufacturer?

Volvo is 0000.1 per million miles!🤣🤣🤣

But only if you don't count the people killed *by* Volvos.

I think its deaths per million miles covered by the vehicle for each manufacturer. I suppose it could be further broken down to each model of car.

The insurance industry will have these figures, as well as age and sex accident/casualty. Thats why certain vehicles are more expensive to insure.

Certain makes having reputation for drivers being higher risk, BMW man, Audi etc. there are others too

Here's an interesting Reuters article about Tesla insurance.

Must be different here in the UK. The amount of Teslas I see compared to two years ago has grown hugely. Insurance must be reasonable for those who have got an EV

As a recent convert to an EV, I’m on various forums/groups and a common theme is the rise in insurance for all cars . Some EVs are outliers with insurance premiums in 4 figures . In the Tesla groups I browse in , some of the insurance repairs are eye watering !!

Its odd, I will have to check my Tesla renewals next year, but our other cars havent changed that much. My sons has already done some pricing for his upcoming Model Y and its not much different. Maybe its more regional

This is the rollout of the Auto steer software update everyone has been fretting about

Not applicable to the UK, but keeps vehicles in sync with updates

I have found a 2yo 71reg Renault Zoe 100kW R135 rapid charge with 22k miles at Bristol Street in that electric blue colour. Anybody own a Zoe what do I look out for? Price is £11.5 k. Actually there is about five to choose from including the GT line for a few £ more.

Here are the EV database specs on the car. Those seem good prices, have you looked at Autotrader to see other dealer prices to gauge the market

Just check that the battery isn't on a lease. Renault do a weird thing with battery leasing.

I’m a bit concerned that the dealer price is so low (£11k) after only two years. Do they depreciate that quickly and what’s it going to be worth in another 5 yrs? Joined the Zoe Facebook forum and they are concerned just how quickly they are dropping in price. Some members say buy on PCP and you have a guaranteed end value.
