In the women's road race Katie Colclough today came second (OK, lost the race, but still won a medal) behind Chantal Blaak. She finished ahead of Marianne Vos, Rasa Leleivyte, Pascale Jeuland, Nathalie Lamborelle, Kelly Druyts and Marina Romoli among others.

That's a pretty great result.

By the way, Joe Perrett won the junior men's time trial the other day, too. Britain's getting quite good at road cycling.
