I wish I could have gone to this, in fact I reckon I could have just about scraped it if I spent all of my overdraft. I wouldn't have raced though. I like riding fast but I don't like having to ride fast, if you know what I mean.

I was in Dublin on the eve of last years event, they've got great bikes never saw the race though, it looks cool .

Ah the world championships. I almost went to that - had my train and ferry booked and everything - but my bloody girlfriend guilt-tripped me into going to london the weekend before the event, for her friend's birthday. Of course, having to catch the tube and buses everywhere, going into overpriced clubs with overpriced drinks, I spent too much, ran out of money, and had to get a refund on the tickets so I could afford to eat until payday. I wasn't pleased at all.
