Looks promising. Like the Etape Caledonia and Hibernia it will be on closed roads, so rather tempting despite the steep entry price.

A new 100 mile (161km) bike race through Wrexham and Denbighshire hopes to attract more than 3,500 entrants. Launching Etape Cymru the Horseshoe Pass near Llangollen, its organisers said the race would be only the second fully-closed road event in the UK.

It will start and finish in Wrexham in October, with entrants climbing 6,000ft (1,828m) en route through Denbighshire.

It's in October, weather could be foul.
What's Welsh for: 'Do you have a spare inner tube, I seem to have several carpet tacks in mine?'

Yeah although they are not ready yet. Hopefully be ready in time for the weekend

Went for some wheels with hope hubs, their mtb stuff has served me well over the years so decided to push the boat out a bit and try their road option.

Some shop though, never seen one so crammed full of gear...almost makes my garage look tidy!
