Hi, can anyone tell me if there is any good cycling clubs in Essex please?

Welcome, are you Benfleet based battingozzy?

The only one I know in our area is Southend Wheelers. Don't know if they're any good or not, but I have been invited to go on their club runs of a Sunday. They meet at Canewdon Village Hall - take a look at the website.

There is Crest CC who meet at Rodding Lane North, Woodford, Chelmsford CC who meet in Chelmsford , Havering CTC who have weekly rides from Upminster (no idea if they have club meetings), there is a MTB club who cycle round Epping Forrest.

You probably need to be a little more precise as to your location!
What type of riding are you into? Road Racing, touring, sunday runs, offroad, Sportives?
Best to go for one of the friendlier bigger clubs, Essex roads, Eagle RC, East London Velo, Shaftesbury CC, Lea Valley CC
