i have been looking at the

Endura Venturi Waterproof Jacket​

who has one? and what do you think of it?
Do you sweat when riding hard or when going up a big long hill?

I have ordered one this morning ready for a 3 month tour across Europe which is 4 weeks away from leaving.
I changed my order from a large to a extra large but i think that i may have to send it back and get it changed to a lager. DOH,, I have read that they are made big.
I am just on the upper size for the lager, 113 chest (44in) but I have a 34-36 waist. Athletic body shape. All my other outer jackets are XL.
I did phone up when i changed the order and the man in the shop said any problems just send it back

We just have to see.

I am in the process of tossing up options to replace my lost Showers Pass Elite 2.0. One of the jackets I am considering is the Endura Venturi II but from what little I have read it seems to 'run on the warm side" which is not ideal for me.

I nearly got a Gore Bike Wear GT AS Fusion but of course I was too slow in making a decision and now ProBikeKit are all sold out.

So at this stage back to the getting a new Showers Pass Elite 2.0 unless the Endura Venturi II reports push me that way.

I got my jacket today, super fast service from http://www.westbrookcycles.co.uk
I paid £132 for the jacet and £14 for the hood and free delivery
XL fits perfect for me so i don't need to send it back.

I have read some good reports on shower pass. I think I would have got one if I had found one in the uk.. I did look
I was after/looking for a eVent jacket. That's how I came across the Endura Venturi 2. If i could have got the Venturi in a colour other than black i may have got one.

Only time will tell as to what the Venturi 2 is like on the ride.
Because I Am a personal Trainer and am always working out my body is effective at keeping a core body temperature :Eg I sweat easy even when just in a t shirt. I think I will still sweat but its a case of how much. I hope that when i am sitting at 10 to 15mph on my tour or when I go up long hills I will be able to keep comfortable.
