I have £30 in vouchers to spend at Amazon and was going to treat myself to some 3/4 for the MTB and also for those lazy days on the train rather than full on lycra  Anyone care to have an opinion on these. Humvees appear to get the vote most of the time but what about the more expensive singletracks?

This might seem an obvious question but, Have you actually tried them on to compare ?
Humvees are a lighter material and come with a liner, the liners pad is ok,nothing great.
Most serious riders chuck the liner away and wear quality bibs underneath.
Singletracks are bomb proof but a bit heavy duty for general riding. Go for the Humvees

Nah not tried them on nearest place I would care to go is in the Edinburgh CO-OP bit of pain to get to. Just really wanted something for MTBing and general walking posing in  Humvees sound better and cheaper but wondered what the extra price got you!
