Decisions decisions.

The Flyte is twice the price, but is it more breathable ? Key thing is is it must be breathable, windproof and waterproof. Breathability is the most important, but how much more breathable is the Flyte ?

What would you do ?

Thanks in Advance.

Endura sounds good from the review http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/clothing/jackets/product/review-endura-flyte-jacket-11-44384

You get what you pay for with waterproof jackets, cheap ones are boil in the bag if you are prone to sweating

I've got a Flyte - very, very breathable - look at the figures on the Endura site. Its much more breathable than a Gore Paclite jacket I have. No liner, and a silver finish to the inside face of the fabric makes it a warm jacket as well. Stretch fabric makes for a nice fit. I have loads of Endura kit - well made, well designed, good quality materials. Gloves are rubbish though!

Thanks, great insights ! I think I will order one, sounds like its worth the extra money for the breathability.

Cheers.

So I bought the Endura Flyte, great decision ! Very, very breathable, I arrived at work dry instead of wet or at best damp for the first time.

The cut is defined as Athletic (I am not athletically shaped), but it is generous enough and not a skinny fit. I bought a XXL and compared to Altura, it is a slightly smaller fit, but not like an Italian or continental brand.

Warmth is good, but not hot. If you want something warm, go for a different jacket, preferably softshell.

It's not at all bulky and folds up OK, but wont fit in a jersey pocket.

Great purchase, Very Highly Recommended.
