Does anybody have any experience of endless innertubes? Despite their name they seem to have two ends and supposedly fit all MTB tyres from 24-26".

An online retailer is selling them for just 77p. Are they worth buying even at that price?

My LBS guy had a new bike come in for its first free service. The owner mentioned that the wheels weren't round and sure enough the tyres had a limp. On removing the tyre the LBS found the above mentioned tubes on each wheel. He replaced them with new proper tubes and the tyres no longer had the lump.
The owner was not best pleased, to say the least, he had fitted the 'marvellous tubes' in order to avoid removing a wheel in the event of a puncture. He was adamant they had not caused the lumpy tyres, but of course they were!

Useful for getting you home if you really are idle or incapable of removing a wheel. Although you will need a knife to cut off the old 'proper' tube!

No wonder they're so cheap!
