En 1078 vs Snell B90 helmets

I have just replaced my old Specialized Max helmet with a Halfords Team Boardman one. The former is Snell b90, the latter is just en 1078. I am considering returning the Halfords one, not worn yet, and getting another Specialized one, but apart from the standard thing, I quite like the Halfords one.

What would you do?

Yes I was reading that last night, but it is gobbledygook to me. The conventional wisdom on here is that 1078 is laughable compared to b90, but I am not sure which test is laughable.

The SNELL test is only marginally more stringent than 1078 in terms of the energy actually applied to the helmets under test.

Seeing as their is little evidence that they are capable of preventing serious head injury or death I would happily wear either, and indeed do wear both ( though not at the same time).
