Yeah just been scanning over this, will read when I get home.

Watch the Oprah interview with him and thought he conducted himself very well, not wanting to talk about others just himself. Still disgraceful what he done.

Yep read the piece too, I was pleasantly surprised by the good standard of the Mail reporting on this one. My initial thoughts are that she was pretty reticent about it and wanted to do it for personal reasons rather than make peace with him. Given what she was put through, I'm not sure I could ever forgive him. As with all things Lance, it's impossible to know if he was being sincere or it was another maneuver....

I have just got into cycling but obviously know of Lance Armstrong and the rumours but I think (in my opinion) he is being sincere and the way he is now conducting himself is admirable, a lot of people would come out and try and deflect the blame and start to bring in all the names but he is only naming people who told the truth and he done wrong by.

I still think he is an inspiration but only for his dedication to training. I watched a video the other day and he was out training and he was told to stop x amount of miles up the road due to snow and he was so stubborn that he wasnt wanting to stop.

Kevin, hard to know where to start with this but don't be fooled. Get yourself a good book, Lance to Landis, LA confidential to name but two. Armstrong is not what he tries to appear, he's very much still trying to control the situation to his advantage and has spurned chances to act in the interests of cycling. In fact what he needs to do is name names, although we probably know most of them now.

That is the problem I think, he himself knows that people will doubt the sincerity of what he is saying. I think he is going to mention names to a panel in the coming weeks, something which I think is right. Dont do it through interviews, do it through the governing bodies and let them investigate (Dont think that will happen though as I believe it when he said the knowledge of doping goes too high in the chain)

LA is about LA, all he wants is to be let off. Don't be fooled, this person brought the sport a lot of attention firstly for good reasons and lately for all the wrong reasons. It's hard to see honesty in someone who has consistently lied, bullied, harrassed decent people, and then allegedly confesses when it looks as if exposure is inevitable. For anyone who fought to do things the right way, it's always going to leave you wondering "what if"?

Probably because he dropped his syringe at the top the week before and wanted it back.

he's a bullying thug who only cares about himself. he didn't give a toss about Emma when he attacked her, repeatedly, in the press. he cared not that he may ruin her life when he launched his attack. he is only sorry he was caught.

i do wish journos would just leave him, he thrives on the oxygen of (self) publicity. let him suffocate.
