It's a bit more complicated than that...
It's easy to embed photos in the forum, but what about maps? Most of the mapping/GPS sites just let you give links to pages, but one that enables embedding is wikiloc. Here's a sample of html, which would give an embedded map in a blog post.

Is it technologically feasible to provide this feature? Is there appetite?
