Elliptical trainer

I have an elliptical trainer which I bought about 5 years ago when I was trying to get fitter for long distance walks. I no longer need it and have advertised it on ebay & gumtree with no takers. Anybody got any ideas on how to get rid of it? Seems too good to put to the tip!!

Have you got a local Freecycle/Freegle? I find this a good way to pass on stuff to awkward for Ebay (beech wood breakfast bar anyone? )

What's the difference between Freecycle and Freegle? We have a freecycle group I think - will check.

Freecycle had internal wranglings - can't recall now what it was all about - the usual storm in a teacup type thing, probably - and Freegle are the break-away tribe

Freecycle are no longer part of the yahoo group and now the mods in my area have been told they can either run freegle or be out in the cold.

Otherwise not much difference.

I do tend to find it is good for getting rid of stuff but imho a lot of the takers are freeloading carbooters after profit as stuff tends to go about 5 minutes after posting so peoplehave email to their phones waiting for stuff.
