Elite Workstand

I need to get a work stand. I'd like something well made, that folds down small and easily and isn't too expensive. Halfords claim to be selling this at 60% off, and I can get 4.5% Quidco and 10% discount with British cycling

Anyone any experience of elite stands?

They have a few more conventional tripod type stands on eBay for less than £30 with free delivery.
Nothing wrong with the Halfords one, but just for comparison sake.

It doesn't look very sturdy to me, and the strapon system worries me. (paging @Fnaar )

This is a far better bet, works out about the same money, and has clamping jaws so you can fix the bike by the seatpost. It's the same design as the much-acclaimed Lidl ones.
